Over the last decade the advancement of medical ultrasound imaging technology to portable devices has improved the accessibility of ultrasound and improved patient care.

Mr Dalvi Humzah, Dr Simon and Dr Emma Ravichandran and their colleague Dr Paula Mann will present to you a Masterclass in integrated facial rejuvenation using ultrasound visualisation.

The Key Opinion Leader quartet will explore key regions using ultrasound as the foundation of their treatment protocol. Mr Humzah will take a detailed review of the anatomy of the temple, cheeks and pyraform space before Drs Ravichandran reflect on the individualisation of a patient’s anatomy through visualisation. Using their extensive experience, the team will assess the dynamics of the face to identify the important relationships between major anatomical landmarks and what that means for facial assessment and treatment planning. The teaching will include an ultrasound demonstration of the vasculature before ultrasound guided injection techniques with Belotero®. The final piece of the picture will be to examine the treatment using ultrasound to reinforce product placement and accurate treatment to achieve patient goals.
