JCCP (Joint Council Cosmetic Practitioners)

About us

The Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) is a UK-registered charity, launched in February 2018 as a self-regulating body for the non-surgical aesthetics and hair restoration sector. The concept of the JCCP was envisioned and inspired by work commissioned by Health Education England on behalf of NHS England and the Department of Health (2016), the JCCP’s mission is to enhance patient safety and public protection within the cosmetic sector.

The JCCP maintains a practitioner register accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) and collaborates with healthcare regulators and other PSA-accredited registers to share information on fitness-to-practice outcomes. Additionally, the JCCP runs a non-PSA accredited register for Approved Education and Training Providers and Qualifications.
